I've been feeling the love for yarn this week. Whilst sorting through my obscenely huge wool stash I came across a 4ply granny blanket I started but never finished. I absolutely love crocheting row upon row of treble clusters, eagerly anticipating the next colour I'm going to use. I absolutely hate the finishing off bit. All those ends to sew or weave in ...
But eventually, two Sunday morning episodes of How I Met Your Mother later, it's time to snip them all off ...
Aaah, now I'm back feeling the love.

That's lovely, Jules. I love the colours. I can't get to grips with 'How I met...' Are they in the future or the past? My new favourite is 'The Big Bang Theory'. It's so funny. I have a huge wools stash too. It's disgusting really. When I find a new pattern, I go through my stash and never seem to have the proper wool for the job, so 'have' to buy more! Happy Sunday to you. x
ReplyDeleteHa ha - I'm exactly the same with wool and new projects, Anne! Running out of places to store/hide my stash. How I met is narrated from the present but viewed in the past. I've watched with my 'boys' from the beginning which makes it best as you know the characters. Big Bang is THE BEST - always good for a little pick me up x
DeleteIt was worth the effort it looks gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Josie. I am a devil for already thinking about my next project before finishing the current one!
